“I love the business. I love the money. I love staying busy. You told me what to do and I just did it.”

Sometimes the biggest advantage a motivated new agent can have is knowing what to do next.

You told me something on our call that stuck with me:
“My drive will be there. I just need the roadmap to execute.”
That is exactly what I want our conversation on Tuesday to be about.
Not another brokerage presentation. Not a list of tools. Not a promise that real estate will be easy.
A real conversation about how someone with your sales background, ambition, and long term vision can build this career the right way.

Regional Branch Manager
Section One
You have already done enough research to know that choosing a brokerage is about more than a logo or a commission percentage.
01
You do not want to wake up with a real estate license and wonder what you should actually be doing. You want to understand what comes first, what comes next, and how the pieces eventually fit together.
02
Access to training is not the same as having someone invested in whether you actually implement it. You are looking for guidance that continues after the initial excitement of joining a brokerage wears off.
03
Training matters most to you right now, but you also want complete clarity around splits, fees, compensation, expectations, and how the economics change as your business grows.
04
You are not expecting to become a luxury agent overnight. You want to learn residential real estate correctly, build a real book of business, increase your production, and eventually earn your way into the luxury market.
“You are not looking for somebody to provide the ambition. You are looking for somebody to help you aim it.”
Section Two
You already have a destination in mind. Now we can start working backward.
Phase 01
Years 1 to 2
Phase 02
Years 3 to 5
Phase 03
Luxury residential
Luxury should not be something you pretend to be ready for. It should become the natural result of what you built beforehand.
Section Three
Structure
You should understand what matters now instead of trying to learn everything at once.
Training
You should develop the actual mechanics required to represent buyers and sellers professionally.
Mentorship
When you encounter something you have never seen before, you should know who is in your corner.
Accountability
Ambition becomes far more powerful when it is attached to a plan.
Platform
The company behind you should give you credibility, technology, marketing, legal support, systems, and resources that make it easier to operate professionally.
Growth
The environment that gets you started should also be capable of supporting the agent you want to become five years from now.
The brokerage gives you the platform.
The right leadership helps you turn it into something.
Section Four
You may be new to real estate. You are not new to sales.
Your experience at ADP matters. You already understand that professional sales requires conversations, follow up, resilience, performance expectations, and doing things even when you do not feel completely comfortable yet.
Those skills do not automatically make someone a successful real estate agent. But they give us something valuable to build on.
My job is not to erase the experience you already have. It is to help you translate it into a completely different business.

“I love the business. I love the money. I love staying busy. You told me what to do and I just did it.”
Sometimes the biggest advantage a motivated new agent can have is knowing what to do next.
Valerie Bourg
Valerie started with relationship skills and learned how to turn those strengths into a real real estate business.
Marlene Hennings
With the right strategy, positioning, and support, Marlene began moving into the higher end coastal market she actually wanted to serve.
Individual results vary. Examples shown are not guarantees of future performance. Real estate results depend on individual effort, skill development, consistency, market conditions, execution, licensing status, and other factors.

You originally found First Team because you were looking for a residential brokerage with a legitimate luxury platform. That matters.
But the better opportunity is not simply joining a company that sells expensive houses. It is learning how to become the kind of agent who belongs in those conversations.
That is a much more interesting five year conversation.
First Team gives agents access to a major Southern California platform with luxury, relocation, and global network capabilities. We can talk Tuesday about how those resources become relevant as your business grows.
Section Seven
You told me one of your biggest concerns is joining a brokerage that gets excited about recruiting you and then leaves you to figure everything out afterward. I understand why.
The real test of a brokerage relationship begins after the paperwork is signed.
Recruiting someone is not the finish line. Helping them become productive is.
That is why I care far more about what happens after somebody joins than simply adding another license to an office roster.
You should judge the opportunity based on what happens next.
Section Eight
You were very clear about what would make our meeting valuable. I listened.
What the progression from newly licensed to productive actually looks like.
How learning, implementation, support, and accountability work together.
What building the business actually requires from you.
Splits, fees, compensation, and how the financial model works as production grows.
What I personally do and what working together actually looks like.
I intentionally did not put the answers on this website. That is what Tuesday is for.
Timing
The next Power Curve training cycle begins September 14. If we meet Tuesday and both decide this is the right fit, the timing gives us an opportunity to move quickly rather than leaving you sitting on the sidelines wondering what to do next.
